Just a few days after the VEITH Symposium in New York, IDNEST Medical technology continues its world tour of vascular experts. On December 8, 2024, it was in Mauritius, as part of the VASCO Congress (Association of Thoracic and Vascular Surgery of the Indian Ocean), that our solution was honored.

Prof. Fabien Thaveau at the Podium

We thank Professor Fabien Thaveau for his remarkable presentation before an audience of international specialists. His communication focused specifically on the treatment of Nutcracker Syndrome, a complex venous pathology requiring high-precision solutions.

The presence of recognized experts such as Professors Nabil Chakfe, Olivier Hartung, and Philippe Nicolini at this event testifies to the importance of exchanges around new venous therapies.

A Solution Presented as the “Therapeutic Future”

As illustrated by Prof. Thaveau’s presentation (see photo above), the IDNEST solution is now envisioned as a concrete response to the current challenges of endovascular surgery.

The diagrams presented to the audience allowed detailing the unique architecture of our device:

  • A system designed to adapt perfectly to venous anatomy.
  • A technical response aiming to secure the positioning of stents and prevent their migration.

Growing International Recognition

This new intervention at the VASCO congress confirms the current dynamic around IDNEST Medical. From the United States to the Indian Ocean, the surgical community is showing growing interest in our innovations. These exchanges with practitioners are essential: they validate our approach and reinforce our mission to offer safer and more efficient devices for patients.
