November 2024 marked an important milestone for IDNEST Medical and for the vascular surgery community. During the prestigious VEITH Symposium in New York, our innovative solution dedicated to the treatment of Nutcracker Syndrome was highlighted by a prominent figure in the profession.
A Presentation by Dr. Peter Gloviczki
We would like to warmly thank Dr. Peter Gloviczki, world-renowned vascular surgeon and former president of the Society for Vascular Surgery, for his presentation on November 22, 2024.
The fact that such a medical authority chooses to present IDNEST technology at an international event like the VEITH Symposium is a strong validation of our approach. It confirms the growing interest of the scientific community in more stable and durable solutions for the treatment of complex venous compressions.

The Challenge: Securing the Treatment of Nutcracker Syndrome
Nutcracker Syndrome, characterized by the compression of the left renal vein between the abdominal aorta and the superior mesenteric artery, remains a complex pathology to treat endovascularly.
One of the major risks of current treatments is stent migration. Due to flow dynamics and anatomical movements, traditional devices can move, compromising treatment efficacy and patient safety.
The IDNEST Response: T-Stent Technology
It is precisely to meet this unmet clinical need that we are developing our solution. As Dr. Gloviczki highlighted during his presentation, IDNEST Medical’s T-Stent solution provides a concrete technical response:
- Increased stability: The specific design of the device is engineered to anchor securely and prevent any risk of migration.
- Double action: It allows securing both iliac and renal stents, offering a complete solution for venous reconstruction.
Next Steps: Towards Final Validation
Our team is working tirelessly on the development of this solution. We are happy to announce that the final Proof of Concept (PoC) is scheduled for very soon. This decisive step will bring us even closer to making this technology available to surgeons and their patients.
At IDNEST Medical, we continue to innovate to transform the challenges of vascular surgery into sustainable solutions.
